Adventures in babysitting
Someone actually trusted us with their kids tonight and we surprisingly... did okay. Not sure if the kids knew we were rookies, so they purposely took it easy on us or maybe they smelled the fear. Regardless, the kids were very well behaved and fell asleep very easily. We watched Thomas the Train (which I didn't understand), fed Mar cheetos, and let Alex hold a remote control. They didn't need much and were quite satisfied. At one point, I told Ron to grab a napkin and said "wipe Mar's paws" hahahaha. I'm too used to having Buddy as my baby. Buddy didn't take tonight's experience too well. We tried to introduce him to the kids, but he kept wanting to steal all their stuffed animals. He doesn't know his own strength and he was really curious about the kids, so we thought it was best to keep him in the room. Overall it was a good night.... do I have mad baby disease now? No, not really (as I rub my furry baby's belly).

Apples
So Buddy and I have this thing with apples. Not just any apples, but only Fuji apples. Right before bedtime, I peel an apple and cut it into bite size pieces.
Buddy waits patiently as I cut the apples.
We then go into the room and hop into bed. I take a bite, then Buddy takes a bite. It's a nice healthy snack that we both enjoy and it's become our bedtime tradition. Ron noticed that Buddy and I have this thing and began feeling like the odd man out, so I started to invite Ron to share apples with us. Buddy doesn't like that Ron has joined in on our tradition. Let's just say Ron is not a "puff, puff, and pass" type of person. Buddy grows impatient waiting for his piece of apple.

- Buddy's eye got better
- Chicago felt 70 degrees (even though it was for just one day)

Happy St. Patty's Day Folks
The weather was awesome today, so Ron surprised us to a trip to the "beach". Despite the wind, we had a good walk. Buddy knows how to push the button to roll down the window and he almost jumped out of the car. Too bad my camera ran out of battery, so I have no pics to document our day =(
